Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Basketball Australia manage the Ability Hoops program. Ability Hoops is designed to provide children aged 8-12 with Intellectual Disabilities (ID) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) a safe and inclusive environment to learn and enjoy basketball. The program focuses on participant-cantered activities, ensuring that every child feels welcome and appropriately challenged. Ability Hoops aims to provide a tailored environment for the participants, maintaining a safe and friendly environment for all. For more information on your local Ability Hoops provider, contact your state and territory representative.
