Born in Mackay, Eithen's journey into wheelchair basketball started at a young age.

At just three years old, during a visit to Brisbane, he watched the Brisbane Spinning Bullets play and fell in love with the sport.

Initially, it was the community and camaraderie that drew him to wheelchair basketball, but as he grew older, his passion for the game itself deepened.

Eithen has achieved significant milestones, such as competing at the 2023 World Cup in Dubai and qualifying for the 2024 Paris Paralympics.

He is inspired by Tige Simmons, a former Brisbane Spinning Bullets and Rollers player (Gold medallist at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics), whom he considers one of the best wheelchair basketball players from Queensland.

Playing Style:

Eithen describes his best assets as his speed and high energy on the court, always bringing a dynamic presence to the game.
