The Centre of Excellence (COE) and Basketball Australia are announcing the intake for the 2025 National Performance Camp (NPC) to be held at the Australian Institute of Sport from January 21 – 24.
The National Performance Camp in Canberra has been a driving force for developing basketball talent in Australia for over 30 years with alumni including Lauren Jackson, Penny Taylor, Steph Talbot, Patty Mills, Andrew Bogut and Aron Baynes.
A new wave of 50 athletes will get the opportunity to attend the AIS in Canberra in January and train on the same grounds as the legends before them.
The coaching panel for the camp will consist of the Basketball Centre of Excellence Coaches, along with State & Territory High Performance and network coaches.
David Herbert (COE Women’s Head Coach) and Robbie McKinlay (COE Men’s Head Coach) will be the camp head coaches and Peter Lonergan, Basketball Australia’s, Centre of Excellence & Performance Pathway General Manager will be the Camp Director.
