Dyson Daniels is one of Australia's most exciting young talents hailing from the basketball-mad city of Bendigo in regional Victoria, Australia. 

As a 17-year-old, he suited up for Australia during the FIBA Asia Cup qualification series in 2021 and in the Boomers win over New Zealand stared with 23 points, 6 steals and 4 assists. Daniels role and responsibility for the Boomers continues to grow with international experience at the FIBA World Cup in 2021 & 2023.

Like his father Ricky, Daniels represented his home-town club Bendigo Braves in the SEABL. He progressed through the NBA Global Academy in Canberra before signing with NBA G League Ignite where he averaged 12 points, 7.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2 steals per game.

Selected with the eighth pick in the 2022 draft, Daniels made his NBA debut in season 2022-23 where he averaged 3.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists for the Pelicans. Daniels will enter his third season in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks, after being traded in July, 2024.
