A wave of Ford Aussie Hoops centres around Australia will receive a financial boost ahead of Term Four through the Aussie Hoops Grant program.
20 centres across six States & Territories will receive a $1000 sum through Initiative Grants, which are attributed to innovative programs that promote engagement, inclusion and skill development in existing centres.
Sarah Skidmore, Participation Programs Manager is delighted to see the distribution of the grants program spread across a diverse range of regions and centres.
“Every little bit matters for the staff, volunteers and participants of Ford Aussie Hoops centres and It’s fantastic to see such a diverse range of programs delivering innovative programs across Australia,” said Skidmore.
“We have more kids playing basketball than ever so it’s essential that we continue driving the grants program to support the growth that’s happening now and in the future for the next generation of Australian basketballers.”
