The nation’s brightest young basketball talents continue to shine at the Foot Locker Under-14 Club Championships.
Across both boys’ and girls’ divisions, the competition has heated up with pool games and quarter finals now behind us, paving the way for an action-packed schedule of semi-finals basketball ahead.
Wednesday’s slate featured a series of quarter finals as teams fought for their place in the semis.
In the Girls Championship Quarter Finals, the Kilsyth Cobras, Cockburn Cougars, Logan Thunder and Bulleen Boomers all booked their spots in the next stage.
The Boys Championship Quarter Finals saw Logan Thunder, North Adelaide Rockets, Dandenong Rangers and Hills Hornets progress.
In the Shield competition, Canberra, Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, Bankstown Bruins and Nunawading Spectres (Boys), along with Perry Lakes Hawks, Ipswich Force, North Gold Coast Seahawks and hosts Willetton Tigers (Girls) all advanced.
For teams outside the championship race, today also marks a key stage in the classification playoffs.
