The Australian Rollers hit the court tonight in Cologne, Germany, to open their 2025 European campaign at the Rollstuhlbasketball Nations Cup – one of Europe’s premier wheelchair basketball tournaments and a key test ahead of November’s Asia Oceania Zone Championships.
Running from 13–17 August, the Nations Cup will see the Rollers face some of the continent’s strongest lineups, including Great Britain, the Netherlands, Poland and a European All-Star team. They’ll then head to Varese, Italy, for a five-game series against the Italian national team from 19–22 August.
The tour is a crucial step towards November’s Asia Oceania Zone Championships - the qualification event for the 2026 IWBF World Cup and a major opportunity to shape the team’s path to LA 2028.
