She Hoops is announcing a major milestone today with the launch of Future Leaders, a program designed for women involved in basketball coaching, officiating and administration in regional areas of Australia.
The immersive program is digital & accessible in remote locations and will be led by Olympic champion and leadership expert, Barbara Kendall.
Alongside Kendall, a range of basketball and industry leaders will feature in Future Leaders.
This includes former WNBA President Donna Orender, NBA officiating trailblazer Dee Kantner, Opals Head & NY Liberty Head Coach Sandy Brondello as well as Opals & WNBA stars Sami Whitcomb & Ezi Magbegor.
Applications are now open for women aged 18 – 30 for a two-month program with un-rivaled insights from experts and specialists presenting sessions on professional development in the sports industry.
Over 8 powerful sessions, participants will engage with global leaders in women’s basketball and take part in transformative leadership development sessions.
It will explore theory - but importantly, developing real-life skills, confidence, and taking the lead.
